Wear & Tear

Steel guitar plays
through decadent town
it greets the coming day
when the snow begin to down
a tune the sparrow sings
on the weeping willow tree
behind the blackened walls
of all those blind and buried years
summon dreams, fears and loves
you writte letters in spring
with a candle in your home
the waltz of the street
throughout the city is heard
they´re gone with winter winds
dreams of youth have disappeared
calling back the old
conjure minutes and loves
around the cot where you born
white jasmine grows
winter´s fading melodies
in your room an aged clock
made of ivory
behind the blackened door
evocas instantes y amores
alrededor de la cuna donde naciste
crece el jazmín blanco
melodías marchitas de invierno
en tu habitación un reloj envejecido
hecho de marfil
tras las puerta enegrecida

Speak To Me
05:45
|

Through the shades
through the dark
I´m walking in the night
in this boring town
Under lampposts of purple dye
although I don´t touch your skin
in my nape I can feel your eyes
among the trees
among the traffic lights
in the silence of the night
I can guess your mouth
underneath a starry sky
I wonder why
never show your lips
but I feel your eyes
in my head
I undress your wicked body
and I still haven´t seen your face
In my mind
I watch your sacred shape
You´re the drug of my nights
get me out of the shades
let me see your hidden shilhouette
show me your face at once
carry me in your shoulders
were heavens angels pray
hidden among the mist
take off your disguise
across the leaves my will you spy
in my head
I undress your wicked body
your beauty doesn´t fades
In my mind
I watch your sacred shape
You´re the drug of my nights
A través de las sombras
a través de la oscuridad
camino en la noche
en esta aburrida ciudad
bajo farolas de tinte púrpura
aunque no rozo tu piel
en mi nuca siento tu mirada
entre los árboles
entre los semáforos
en el silencio de la noche
puedo adivinar tu boca
bajo un cielo estrellado
me pregunto porqué
nunca muestras tus labios
pero siento tu mirada
en mi cabeza
desnudo tu cuerpo perverso
y todavía no he visto tu rostro
en mi mente
observo tu forma sagrada
desnudo tu cuerpo perverso
tu belleza no se desvanece
en mi mente
veo tu sagrada forma
eres la droga de mis noches

Where The Road Ends
05:16
|
|||
There´s a place
behind the whitish hills
above the sea in a cave
inside the isolated cliff
beneath the sky white and gray
there the seagulls have their nests
the man stay away, the poet lives
where the road ends
looking out from the stony porch
he dances in the night staring at the moon
in a silver plate he offers his silver soul
in his hand he keeps the heart
no matter where he was born
the poet lives in this cold earth
there´s a place
beyond the wheat fields
where the silence still reigns
the dwelling place of the black sheep
further from the highway
where the poet lives and the road ends

Yours
04:48
|

There is a woman without face
who lives on the clouds
far away where the rainbow always shines
at the end of inclined stairs
in a place up high
there is a woman
who brings me gifts from the sky
come down
my savior from the heights
take my will into your arms
into the sea, into the ground
caress my skin
make moves my heart
when the rain is falling down
and what remains of the day dies
there is a woman whose breath
makes shiver my hands
in a place up stairs
you´re seeing
bring me your gift again, bring it up me back
come down
my savior of the sky
take my will into your hands
caress my skin , touch my head
my heart can barely beat
get moving it again
caress me and pull me up
open my eyes
raise spirits of my heart
unbury me darling from my grave
go bellow from the hills
come down to the shades
look for me
into the sea, into the ground
caress my hair
make moves my heart
desciende
mi salvadora de las alturas
toma mi voluntad entre tus brazos
en el océano, dentro de la tierra
acaricia mi piel
haz mover mi corazón
cuando cae la lluvia
y lo que queda del día muere
hay una mujer cuyo aliento
hace estremecer mis manos
en un lugar arriba de las escaleras
estas viendo mi corazón
tráeme de nuevo tu regalo, tráemelo de vuelta
desciende
mi salvadora del cielo
acaricia mi piel, toca mi cabeza
mi corazón apenas puede latir
ponlo de nuevo en movimiento
acariciame, levántame
abre mis ojos
levanta el ánimo de mi corazón
sácame querida de mi tumba
desciende desde las colinas
baja hacia las sombras
búscame
en el océano, dentro de la tierra
haz mover mi corazón

I Walked Under The Dew
03:29
|
|||
I walked on the snow and my feet were getting cold
I walked under the rain my skin were getting wet
you promised me you would not abandon home
you said
I will never lose you again
but you still stay away
I walked through the fields crossing rivers and streams
I watched the seven seas and how the leaf colours changed
behind the moon I drove by the highway
you will never come back again
I walked throughout the dew and my hair were getting gray
I carried in my bag a broken pocket watch with chain
once you promised dear you would not abandon me
and said
I will never lose you again
but you still stay away
y dijiste
nunca te volveré a perder
y dijiste
nunca te volveré a perder
pero tú aún sigues lejos

Lying On The Sky
03:17
|
|||
In my room I feel how
something moves
paper boats sail on the waves
when the winds blowing west
they will never come again
but now I feel the rain wetting my shirt
by the meadow sown of wheat
The wind excites my head
and my body shakes with shivers
and I with summer dress
when the ship began to sail
about to write a nice tail
it cracks the keel
losing loves in winters days
they will never come again
but now I feel the rain touching my skin
by the meadow sown with seed
The wind hits my face
and my body shakes with shivers
feelings that weren´t named
but now I feel the rain wetting my shirt
by the meadow sown of wheat
The wind excites my head
and my body shakes
and I with summer dress
En mi habitación siento como
algo se mueve
barcos de papel navegan sobre las olas
vientos que soplan hacia el oeste
nunca volverán de nuevo
pero siento la lluvia mojando mi camiseta
por del prado sembrado de trigo
el viento excita mi cabeza
y mi cuerpo se sacude con espasmos
y yo con ropa de verano
cuando el barco comienza a navegar
a punto de escribir un bonito cuento
entonces se agrieta la quilla
amores perdidos en los días de invierno
nunca volverán de nuevo
pero siento la lluvia rozando mi piel
a través del páramo sembrado de semilla
y mi cuerpo se sacude con estremecimiento
sentimiento que no fueron nombrados

The Island Of Mirages
05:48
|
|||
Wake up boy at once
you are lying on a ruined paradise
surrounded by figures that seem to smile
but no one lives there
beware
you feel marooned in that sick land
maybe it is a trick of the light
beware cos it often seems ilusion
there everything is confussion
but anyone cares
you shout with strength from your unreal life
¿Is there anyone there?
illusionary worlds are before your eyes
beware cos this anyone cares
Despierta muchacho de una vez
estás acostado sobre un paraíso en ruinas
rodeado de figuras que parecen sonreír
pero nadie vive allí
ten cuidado
te sientes abandonado en esa tierra enferma
quizá solo sea un espejismo
ten cuidado pues a menudo parece ilusión
